(Krugman 2011) Millionaire for a day

Krugman, Paul. Millionaire for a day [Internet]. New York Times. 2011 Nov 3. Available from: http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/11/03/millionaire-for-a-day/. Accessed 2012 Mar 9. Archived by WebCite at http://www.webcitation.org/6632kzUlC.

Krugman refutes the “income mobility defense” to evidence of increasing income inequality in the USA by pointing out that most of the turnover in the highest income groups is due to small shifts across group boundaries, rather than to “Horatio Alger stories” of self-made millionaires.
